Kingi Oy is a Finnish innovator in corrosion-resistant building products. Its crown jewel is the patented three-layer coated KINGI® roofing screw, which is a Key Flag product. The KINGI® roofing screw is the lifetime fastener for the best steel roofs on the market.
With the new investment, the company will double its capacity and bring new products for improving roofs to domestic and international markets. Initially, two new screw products will enter production; KINGI® renovation screw and KINGI® roof safety screw.

HAMK’s sheet metal centre tested the corrosion resistance of eight roofing screws commonly sold in Finland in March. The purpose of the test was to investigate how different screws withstand urban and industrial climates on a roof, and how the new screw performs against the old veterans. Is the costly need to replace screws finally coming to an end?
