To install Kingi roofing screws and replacement screws, you need the Kingi installation socket. The screws’ higher crown head and thicker coating require the use of a Kingi installation socket. An incorrectly sized installation socket will damage the coating.

KINGI® roofing screw warranty installation requires a KINGI® installation socket!
The patented corrosion protection of KINGI® screws, a three-layer coating, is stronger than that of other screws. The screw head is also higher than those of other screws to ensure better installability. Therefore, only the dedicated 8.27 mm across-flats installation socket should be used when installing a KINGI® roofing screw. Using a standard 8 mm installation socket damages the screw coating, causing the coating warranty for the KINGI® roofing screw to become void and shortening the screw’s service life, which was designed to be long.
