KINGI® roofing screw is also an eco-friendly choice

The domestic KINGI® roofing screw is not only a compliant and blue-and-white choice, it is also environmentally friendly. Our aim is to improve the overall quality of sheet metal roofs one screw at a time, and that is why the KINGI® roofing screw is designed to withstand time, stress and wear without rusting. The tests also prove that the KINGI® roofing screw lasts for decades on a sheet metal roof.

As a long-lasting product, the KINGI® roofing screw is an ecological choice. The screw’s installation, which does not damage the sheet metal, and the screw’s long life cycle ensure a long life for the sheet metal roof. The KINGI® roofing screw reduces the need to replace sheet metal roofs and thus also the amount of waste generated. Thanks to the KINGI® replacement screw, also known as a renovation screw, the entire sheet metal roof no longer needs to be replaced because of rusted screws, but the service life of an old sheet metal roof can be extended for decades simply by replacing the screws. This results in savings for both the environment and the wallet.

We carefully control the manufacturing process of the screws so that we do not waste energy and raw materials or produce unnecessary waste. To paint the three-layer-coated KINGI® roofing screws, we use AkzoNobel powder paints, which contain no chemicals toxic to the environment. When powder paint is used, harmful solvents do not spread into the environment either, and paint waste is minimal.

A domestic product creates well-being in Finland

The KINGI® roofing screw is a Key Flag product, and most of its manufacturing is carried out in Finland, at our factory in Nurmijärvi. From foreign suppliers, we acquire only those semi-finished products and raw materials that cannot be obtained from Finland. Using the KINGI® roofing screw and future new installation screws brings work and creates well-being in Finland.

We celebrate Finnish work every day. If you want to do your part, do the same.

If every Finn spent 10 euros more per month on Finnish products and services, 10,000 new jobs would be created in Finland annually.
